84th Edition of the Know India Programme (KIP)

07 December – 26 December 2025

The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, is pleased to announce the 84th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), scheduled to be held from 07 December to 26 December 2025.

The Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry that aims to reconnect Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in the age group of 21–35 years with their roots and to introduce them to India’s rich cultural heritage and ongoing developmental journey.

Through this immersive programme, participants will have the opportunity to experience diverse aspects of contemporary India, including its art, heritage, culture, economy, innovations, start-ups, science, and technology. The KIP seeks to motivate and inspire young members of the Indian diaspora to engage with India’s growth story and contribute to its vision of Viksit Bharat.

Since its inception in 2003–04, the Ministry has successfully organized 82 editions of the KIP, with the participation of 2,959 youth PIO members from across the globe.
