Tender Notice for Supply and Installation of Laminated Glass/Rolling Shutters for Doors/Windows at Embassy of India, Lisbon

1. Embassy of India, Lisbon invites Bids from companies for undertaking of works which are listed in the “Scope of Work” below, at Embassy of India, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, Restelo, 1400-297 Lisbon.

SCOPE OF WORK:

i. Supply and installation of Laminated glass (with security film between the inner and outer glasses for anti-intrusion. The suggested requirements of the glass/film are given below) on the doors and windows in the Embassy as per site evaluation and assessment at the Embassy. Removal of the existing glasses in the windows/doors.

ii. Supply and installation of door/window frames suitable to fix the security/laminated glass to be supplied (as mentioned in point no. I) , in the designated rooms as per site evaluation and assessment at the Embassy. Removal of the existing frames of the windows/doors.

iii. Supply and installation of roller blinds/shutters for doors and windows as per layout to be provided by the Embassy. Removal of old blinds.

iv. Remove all debris and clean the area upon completion of work.

2. The detailed tender document may be downloaded also from Central Procurement Portal https://eprocure.gov.in. Please note that any corrigendum/ addendum in the above tender documents, if required, will be hosted in the website of the Embassy of India, Lisbon, as given above.

3. Interested bidders can visit the said property with prior appointment by calling at phone number 213041100 between 10 am to 5 pm from 15/5/2023 to 02/6/2023.

4. The interested companies have to submit the tenders in Two Bid System i.e (i) Technical Bid and (ii) Financial Bid, as mentioned below, which may be submitted physically or through courier/post before the deadline of 05 June 2023 (1700 hours, Portuguese time). Envelope A (Technical Bid): This sealed envelope should contain the documents establishing the technical

eligibility of the company and other documents required in accordance with Annexure-I. The envelope is to be superscribed as “Technical Bid”.  Envelope B (Financial Bid): This sealed envelop should contain the price on an all-inclusive basis, including VAT etc. in accordance with Annexure-II. The Envelope is to be superscribed as “Financial Bid”.  Envelope C: This envelope should contain both Envelope A and Envelope B superscribed with “Bid for Civil Works at Embassy of India, Lisbon” addressed to the Head of Chancery, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, Restelo, Lisbon 1400-297. Financial Bid of a company disqualified at technical evaluation stage shall not be opened.

5. The bids are to be submitted latest by 5 pm on 05 June, 2023 addressed to Head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Rua Pero de Covilha No. 16, 1400-297 Restelo, Lisbon, Portugal.

6. The Embassy of India, Lisbon reserves the right to reject any bid at any stage of the bidding process without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

7. The selected bidder shall be formally informed about the selection by Embassy of India, Lisbon who shall be required to sign an agreement (which can be drafted later on mutual understanding) with the Embassy within 10 days of issuance of such information.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The Agency must have a minimum of five years experience of handling similar kind of work in reputed organizations.

2. The persons deployed by the contractor should have requisite experience and skills for carrying out the assigned maintenance task using appropriate materials and tools/equipment. The contractor must employ adult and skilled labour only.

3. The agency should have sufficient employees on its rolls specifically trained for this activity.

4. The agency should clearly give the technical and quality aspects of the glass (inner, outer, security film etc), windows’/doors’ frames to be used.

5. The agency should also provide the details of warranty/guarantee of the Security glass/windows frames/shutters etc. as applicable.   

6. Rates quoted shall be firm and fixed. No additional charges apart from the charges mentioned in bid, shall be payable.

7. For finalization of work, the tender whose rates are the lowest in comparison to other  bidders will be considered as the lowest bidder.

8. The Mission reserves the right to cancel this work/tender if no satisfactory bids are received from any of the bidders.

09. Physical visit to the Embassy building is advisable to have a general idea about the extent of works required. TENDER INVITE: INVITATION OF BIDS FOR PROVIDING SERVICES TO INDIAN NAVAL SHIP "INS TARANGINI" AT PORTO (PORTUGAL) FROM 26-29 AUGUST 2022

Tenders are invited from reputed ship-chandelling agents for providing logistic services and provisions to the Indian Naval Ship ‘INS Tarangini’ visiting at Port of Leixões, Porto (Portugal) from 26-29 August 2022.

Technical and Financial Bids in sealed covers should reach Embassy of India, Lisbon by post/in person/courier before the deadline of 1000 hrs. on 8 August 2022 addressed to the Head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Rua Pero da Covilha 16, Restelo, Lisbon (Portugal). Price bids of only those bidders who qualify in the Technical Bid evaluation would be considered for Financial Bids opening. Tenders will be opened in the Embassy at 1500 hrs on 08 August 2022.

Reference our earlier notification  of February 4, 2022 inviting Bids for Supply and Installation of CCTV system at two properties of Embassy of India, Lisbon.

As the Embassy has not received sufficient number of Bids, the last date for receiving Bids is being extended till March 11, 2022.
