ICCR Scholarships under General Scholarship Scheme (GSS) Programme for academic year 2019-2020

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), with the objective to foster, strengthen and promote India’s cultural relations with the other countries, has been offering scholarships in various courses. This year 1 scholarship slot (except some courses detailed in para c below) is being provided by ICCR to interested Portuguese applicants. 

Some of the important guidelines are listed below :-

a. Age of the applicant should be or greater than 18 years but below 30 years.
b. For B.E. / B. Tech courses, the candidate should have Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in their school leaving examination.
c. This scholarship is not for admission in Medical/Paramedical (Nursing/Physiotherapy/Anesthesia etc) /fashion courses.
d. The expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other related incidental charges in Science courses will be borne by the scholars themselves.
e. Applicant is required to go-through the criteria laid down by various Universities for the subject/course, which he/she is applying for.
f. Applicant should be proficient in English and Applicants should have taken English Language test administered by the Indian Embassy.
g. Applicant can apply online at www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in and the last date for receiving the application is 28th February 2019.
