Overseas Campus Placement by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India: 18-21 October 2019

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is organising the Overseas Campus Placement Programme for Chartered Accountants and Accountants during 18-21 October 2019. This event will provide a unique opportunity for overseas corporates to recruit Indian Chartered Accountants (CAs) and accountants.

ICAI is a statutory body, established by an Act of Parliament, for regulating the profession of CAs in India. It functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, and has 34 Overseas Chapters across the world besides 164 branches throughout India. ICAI, with 292,000 members and 750,000 students, is the second-largest accounting body globally and is represented at all international forums on accountancy. 

The Accounting sector has been identified by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one of India's 12 Champion Sectors for export promotion. Indian CA qualifications are widely acclaimed and nearly 20% of Indian CAs are employed internationally. Indian CAs, by virtue of their professional competence with global scalability, gain employment and other assignments across all jurisdictions.
