60-65th Edition of Know India Programme (KIP)

1. Ministry of external affairs, Govt of India has been organising Know India Programme (KIP) every year to provide the young Indian diaspora a bridge to their motherland and give them an exposure to India's diverse cultural heritage and different aspects of modern India.

2.Since 2004, the GOI has conducted 59 editions of KIP with the participation of 2061 diaspora youth from various countries.

3. In late 2020 early 2021, six editions (60th to 65th ) of Kip are scheduled to be held in states like Karnataka, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Odisha. due to uncertainty with regard to international travel and COVID-19 situation in India, confirmed dates will be announced later.

5. The eligibility criteria for the scheme is also attached below. The participants who are selected for Kip will also be required to register on the kip portal at a Short notice when the program is announced.
