Surajkund International Crafts Mela

The 36th edition of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela will be held from 3-19 February 2023 at Surajkund near Faridabad in the State of Haryana, India. The Mela is jointly hosted by the Union Ministries of Tourism, Textile (Development Commissioner, Handlooms & Handicrafts), External Affairs & Culture, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Haryana Tourism. It will showcase the finest traditions of handicrafts, handlooms, culture and cuisine from all parts of India and abroad. In the prior edition a total of 29 countries with 311 participants were present at the Mela. 

Any country can participate by sending vibrant cultural troupes (comprising 10-15 members) and 4-5 artisans/crafts professionals to showcase their national heritage. The Surajkund Mela Authority will provide free boarding, lodging and airport transportation from Delhi Airport to the event venue during their stay at the Mela (expecting only airfare and any professional fees, if applicable).
