NASSCOM International SME Conclave (NISC):Biswa Bangla Convention Center in Kolkata,January 10-11, 2019

For the first time, NASSCOM is planning to host an International Conclave (NISC) for IT/ITeS SME companies in Kolkata on January 10-11, 2019. The eventis going to be the biggest IT conclave for SME companies in India.
NISC is aimed at creating visibility for Asian products, services and technology companies in the global market. Recent reports indicate that the trend is now shifting in favour of increased focus on investing in technology companies and digital marketing in Asia. This trend will help to establish India as a destination for new technologies and innovation.
The conclave will aid in developing synergies between the SMEs of neighbouring and ASEAN countries to showcase their skills and create a platform for collaboration. The global SME platform thus created can help you to keep pace with the changing trends and remain meaningful in the dynamically changing IT industry.
NISC will seek to generate ideas and business, featuring exhibits, conferences and networking    from governments, industries and people as well as showcasing innovative and emerging        technologies from across the globe.

INDUS FOOD 2019: India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, January 13-14, 2019

The second edition of ‘INDUS FOOD’ Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) is scheduled to take place on January 13-14, 2019, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh). The event is aimed at promoting India as a competitive exporter of quality food and beverage products to the world. About 450 top exporters from India’s food and beverage industry will be participating. Over 650 pre-screened hosted buyers will be invited from across the world to take advantage of the excellent platform for doing business with Indian food and beverage businesses.

India Steel Expo 2019: Mumbai Exhibition Centre, January 22-24, 2019

India Steel Expo 2019 will provide an opportunity to International Steel Producers andTechnology Companies to showcase their equipment, latest technology and best practices through live demonstrations in an exhibition area of 12,000 square metres. The event will also extendan excellent platform to buyers, sellers, technology providers, manufacturers, traders, importers, investors and other allied organisations / institutions from the steel industry to interact and develop business relationships with the Indian steel industry.

The organisers can facilitate a Country Pavilion with the participation of major steel sector corporations. A Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) is planned during India Steel Expo 2019 where more than 300 Foreign Buyers from Africa, CIS, Middle East, Developing Asia (including SAARC) and other important regions will be invited and hosted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). B-2-B and B-2-G meetings will be held during the RBSMto develop business linkages, collaborations and for exploring possibilitiesin different areas of the steel sector.

8th Global Economic Summit 2019: World Trade Centre Mumbai, March 6-8, 2019

The World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai and All India Association of Industries (AIAI) are jointly organising the 8th Global Economic Summit 2019 on the theme ‘Services: Enabler of Growth for Trade and Industry’ scheduled from March 6-8, 2019 at the World Trade Centre Mumbai.

The Summit will showcase opportunities for small, medium and large organisations to integrate services as productivity enablers in enhancing manufacturing and agriculture sectors. It will also help governments and regulatory authorities to enhance their competitiveness in global services by helping them to adopt various social and policy initiatives as well as advancements in information and communication technologies.

Similarly, the service sector is a key to provide economic empowerment to women by providing high employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. The Summit will also deliberate on enhancing the role of women in the service sector.

Mr Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation; Gen. (Dr.) V K Singh, Minister of State, Ministry for External Affairs, Government of India along with several dignitaries from India and overseas including policymakers, international experts in multilateral organisations, MNCs, academicians and industry experts are expected to deliberate on enhancing MSME competitiveness by integrating services to enhance economic and business competitiveness.

The earlier editions of the Global Economic Summit addressed topics such as Trade and Investment Opportunities, Small and Medium Enterprises, Clusters in One World: Perspectives from Many Nations, Asia: Powering Global Markets, Enabling Food for All, and Women Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Capacity Building, which witnessed participation of over 500 delegates from across 30 countries including India.
