Ambassador's talk on "India's Foreign Policy and Portugal's Place in It" at the National Defence Institute, Lisbon on July 3, 2014

His Excellency Dr. JitendraNath Misra, the Ambassador of India, visited the National Defense Institute, Lisbon on July 3, 2014,where, he delivered a talk on “India’s Foreign Policy and Portugal’s Place in It.” At a ceremony before the talk, Ambassador Misra presentedfifty books on India to the National Defense Institute.

The ambassador spoke about the global, regional and domestic contexts of India’s foreign policy, with their concomitant challenges, and, within this framework, the development of relations with Portugal. The talk was part of the embassy’s engagement with think tanks and the wider academic community to create a better understanding of India in Portugal.
