Glimpses of the International Hindi Conference at the University of Lisbon (5-7 June 2019)
 
The Embassy of India, with support from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, organized the International Hindi Conference at the University of Lisbon from 5 to 7 June 2019. About 100 Hindi scholars, experts, and academicians from 13 different countries participated in the 3-day Conference. On 5 June, Ambassador of India to Portugal H.E. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla gave her opening remarks at the Conference (https://youtu.be/ZnfpbExJLQQ) and hosted a dinner reception for the keynote speakers and participants. The keynote speakers included Prof. Karumuri V. Subbarao from the University of Delhi (retd.), Prof. Ashwini Deo from the Ohio State University, Prof. Dave Kush from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and Prof. Rajesh Bhatt from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
The Conference was organized in collaboration with the Centre for Indian Studies, Centre for Linguistics and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon.

लिस्बन विश्वविद्यालय में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी सम्मेलन की झलकें (5-7 जून2019)

भारत सरकार के विदेश मंत्रालय के सहयोग से लिस्बन स्थित भारत के दूतावास ने 5 से 7 जून 2019 तक लिस्बन विश्वविद्यालय में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया। 3 दिवसीय सम्मेलन में 13 विभिन्न देशों के लगभग 100 हिंदी विद्वानों, विशेषज्ञों, और शिक्षाविदों ने भाग लिया। 5 जून को पुर्तगाल में भारत के राजदूत महामहिम श्रीमती के. नंदिनी सिंगला ने सम्मेलन में अपनी प्रारंभिक टिप्पणी दी (https://youtu.be/ZnfpbExJLQQ) और मुख्य वक्ता और प्रतिभागियों के लिए एक विशेष रात्रिभोज का आयोजन किया। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय से प्रो. करुमुरी वी. सुब्बाराव, ओहियो स्टेट यूनिवर्सिटी से प्रो. अश्विनी देव, नॉर्वेजियन यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी से प्रो. डेव कुश और यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ मैसाचुसेट्स, एमहर्स्ट से प्रो. राजेश भट्ट सम्मेलन के मुख्य वक्ता थे। सम्मेलन का आयोजन भारतीय अध्ययन केंद्र, भाषा विज्ञान केंद्र और लिस्बन विश्वविद्यालय के कला संकाय के सहयोग से किया गया था।
