Ambassador Participates in 135th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Dr. BR Ambedkar in Lisbon

The Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal participated in the 135th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, organized by the Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in Lisbon. In his address, the Ambassador paid rich tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, describing him as a visionary leader, a champion of social justice, and a principal architect of the Indian Constitution. He highlighted Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong commitment to the upliftment of marginalized communities and his enduring efforts to establish a more just and equitable society. The Ambassador emphasized that Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, liberty, and fraternity continue to inspire generations across the world. Referring to Dr. Ambedkar as a Yugpurush—a man ahead of his time—he underlined the global relevance of his legacy in the fight against discrimination and in the promotion of human rights.
