During his official visit to Madeira, Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal met with H.E. Rubina Leal, President of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira.

They discussed strengthening India–Portugal bilateral relations, enhancing parliamentary cooperation, and marking 50 years since the re-establishment of diplomatic ties. On the second day, Ambassador Kundal met H.E. Jorge Carvalho, Regional Secretary for Education, and H.E. Irineu Cabral, Representative of the Portuguese Republic in Madeira. The discussions focused on educational collaboration and the celebration of 50 years of India–Portugal diplomatic relations in Madeira.
