India Business Seminar in Lisbon (21.11.2017)

Embassy of India in Lisbon organised an India Business Seminar at the Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Portuguesa (CCIP), Lisbon on November 21, 2017. The event was aimed to inform Portuguese companies and entities about business and investment opportunities in India. 
Speaking at the event, Ambassador of India to Portugal H.E. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla said there was a lot of potential for bilateral trade and investment ties between India and Portugal and stressed for further economic cooperation between the two countries.
Deputy Minister of Economy H.E. Paulo Alexandre Ferreira highlighted the recent positive developments in Portuguese economy which had facilitated international business.
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Employment, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh H.E. Rajendra Shukla gave a brief presentation on the auspicious state of the Indian economy and recent policy initiatives by Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in the areas of infrastructure, land for industrial facilities and technical manpower.
Following the presentations by Mr. D. P. Ahuja, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Trade & Investment Facilitation Corporation Ltd., Ms. Shuchita Sonalika, Director and Head, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) UK Office and Ms. Bruna Melo of EY, Portuguese businessmen had one-to-one meetings with the speakers.
