Visit of Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal to Porto | 16-18 June

During his visit to Porto from 16 to 18 June, Ambassador Puneet Kundal participated in the international conference “Human Revolution – Healthy Development in the Age of Disruption.” He joined the panel discussion on “Strategies for Global Leadership in a Disruptive World,” where he highlighted the role of diplomacy and international cooperation in managing disruptive change, sharing India’s perspective of resilience and inclusive growth in a rapidly evolving global order.The session was moderated by Portuguese CNN journalist Rita Rodrigues, with co-panelists Marija Tadic, Croatian Special Envoy on Climate, and John Pinto, Dean of the Business School of Porto. On the following day, the Ambassador discussed academic cooperation and opportunities for India-Portugal collaborations during meetings with Mr. Antonio Pereira, Rector of the University of Porto, and Miguel Coimbra, Member of the Executive Board of the University. He was accompanied by Indian Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral researchers from the university. Later that day, the Ambassador also interacted with Indian Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral researchers working at the University of Porto, University of Aveiro, the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, the Agriculture University in Vila do Conde, among others.
