India at Finisterra Arrabida Film Arts amp Tourism Festival 2017

India was chosen as Guest Country to show-case its unique profile at the Finisterra Arrabida Film Arts and Tourism Festival 2017, held in Sesimbra from May 23 to May 26. An exhibition depicting arts, crafts culture and traditional costumes of India was held at the Municipal library of Theatre Sao Mota in Sesimbra from May 23 and a Bollywood Dance show was organised during the award distribution ceremony on May 25, 2017. Speaking at the occasion, H.E. Mrs. K. Nandini Singla, Ambassador of India to Portugal, informed the audience about the Indian film industry and the number of film produced in India each year. She invited the producers and film makers to shoot films in India as India is a continent in itself and provide exotic landscapes. She informed the audience about e-Visa and the ease with which travellers to India can obtain visa from the comfort of their home.
