Indian Ocean: Global Connections' Conference, University of Lisbon, 17-18 April 2018

An international conference on 'Indian Ocean: Global Connections’ was organised by Embassy of India in Lisbon at the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL) on 17-18 April 2018 in association with the Centre for History of the University of Lisbon, the Centre for Indian Studies of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, and the Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre. The Conference was sponsored by Indian Council For Cultural Relations and included keynote speakers, Prof. Sanjay Subrahmanyam, University of California, Los Angeles and Prof. Varun Sahni, Vice-Chancellor, Goa University. The panel presentations were made by experts from various European and Asian universities.
